Atlus and Vanillaware have announced they will be collaborating on a remake of 2007 action RPG, Odin Sphere.

Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir will feature heavily revised gameplay mechanics, which includes more open levels, new abilities for characters, and several new features. For those who prefer to play Odin Sphere as it performed on the PlayStation 2, a classic mode will be included.

Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir is expected to be released in Japan on January 14, 2016. No word yet on if the game will make its way to the West, although considering how popular the original Odin Sphere was, we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw it in the US some time in 2016.

Odin Sphere was cool looking and all, but I really didn't like the game. :(

This game is like Muramasa right? I'm definitely down for more of that.

Same developer, somewhat different gameplay. Battles take place in side-scrolling stages that wrap (effectively infinite scrolling usually). There are five characters that all play differently. There's a bit of repetitiveness (playing some of the same areas and fighting the same bosses just with different characters) but otherwise it's a fun game.

What these need to do is release a compilation disk like Rare did. Id buy there hits without hesitation for the PS4.
Odin Sphere, GrimGrimoire and the Muramasa, Grand Knights History and Princess Crown Dragons Crown, and Kumatanchi.

Make this happen and take my cash.
