Microsoft announced an all-new controller that is completely different from the "new" controller it announced last week that is packaged with the new 1TB Xbox One console. The controller is called the Xbox One Elite Controller and it gives a plethora of customization options never before made available on a console controller.

The Xbox One Elite Controller is described as an "elite controller for elite gamers" that features pro-precision, hair-trigger locks, and a D-Pad that is said to offer "game-changing accuracy." The components on the controller are swappable, meaning both analog sticks, the D-Pad, and rear paddles can be changed to the user's preference.

The controller will be compatible with Xbox One and Windows 10 and will be available this fall. The controller will retail for $149.99, which may very well be the most expensive first-party controller we've ever heard of.
