It appears that Flying Wild Hog just hasn't had enough Wang. The studio behind Hard Reset has revealed that they're not quite finished with Shadow Warrior just yet. Both the developer and publisher Devolver Digital have confirmed that a second Shadow Warrior is on the way.

Earlier today, the Shadow Warrior website was updated to indicate that a sequel is incoming. While the site appears to be experiencing heavy traffic at the moment, the confirmation can also be found through the Devolver Digital Twitter account.

The Shadow Warrior reboot was first unveiled at E3 2013, with the Hard Reset developer crafting a fine first-person action game centering around lead character Lo Wang. Many of the more stereotypical aspects of the original Shadow Warrior game were left by the wayside in favor of more hardcore combat, old-school shooting mechanics, and colorful landscapes.

Look for more information about Shadow Warrior 2 to come as early as next week's E3 2015.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
