Last week, Shacknews had the chance to go hands-on with one of the several new Play Sets set to come to Disney Infinity 3.0. The Rise Against the Empire Play Set will return to the world of the original Star Wars trilogy and Shacknews recently had a chance to talk to Studio Gobo studio director Tom Williams about the project.

Williams discusses the Play Set's multiplayer game modes, which doesn't just extend to the story, but also extends to players taking control of vehicles like the AT-ATs on Hoth. He also talks about the game's vehicles, flight stages, the Death Star, working with Ninja Theory, and re-enacting the greatest scenes from the original trilogy.

Be sure to check out the full interview below. The Star Wars 'Rise Against the Empire' Play set will release alongside Disney Infinity 3.0 this fall.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years.
