why do you need video card drivers for linux? It is not like you can play any good games in it.

just a quick note-

these drivers have mostly stability and compatibility fixes.

Also, having spend some time in the irc.openproject.net #nvidia chat room with some of the linux developers, i can say that they are very smart, they work very hard on these drives, they are willing to help anyone, and have a sense of humor. they really want these linux drivers to be succesful.

Im quite happy with them
