E3 2015: Check Out Shacknews' Full Show Plans

Shacknews has been readying itself to do E3 bigger and better than ever before. Check out our full set of plans!

11

E3 2015 is just around the corner, and Shacknews has been readying itself for our biggest year yet. We've been busy behind the scenes making plans and preparations, and we're happy to finally let you in on the secrets.

It all starts with our brand-new E3 hub. This destination is the easiest way to keep track of everything Shacknews is up to at the show. We've also developed a handy Related Stories section, so you can easily hop from story to story naturally, by finding more that interests you.

Naturally, we'll still be offering the same coverage you've come to expect, like breaking news from the press conferences and throughout the week, hands-on impressions, interviews, and video features from the show floor. Our crew is bigger than it has been in years, ready to divide and conquer. But we're not stopping there.

For the first time, we'll be offering a nightly live video show, Show Important, on Twitch. Starting Sunday evening and then shortly after the convention floor closes every day--around 6:30-7 PM PT--you can hear our own firsthand impressions from the day, along with rotating special guests. For audiophiles, Show Important will also be offered as a series of special edition Chattycast podcasts.

Those following us on social media will also be treated to updates via Periscope as we navigate the hustle and bustle of the show floor. Be sure to follow Steve, Ozzie, Josh, Andrew, Joe, and Eric for updates from the show floor.

Finally, we're getting the engines warmed up early, by offering a full week packed to bursting with pre-E3 coverage. We'll be running features examining our most anticipated games, looking back at what did and didn't pan out from last year, making wild predictions, and more. Be sure to check out this week's Show Important and Chattycast for more as we head into E3.

Shack Staff stories are a collective effort with multiple staff members contributing. Many of our lists often involve entires from several editors, and our weekly Shack Chat is something we all contribute to as a group.

I'll definitely make appearances, but it's really a Show Important primarily. That means Andrew and Joe will be your hosts with the mosts--which is good because they're actually experienced broadcasters who know what they're doing.

will Andrew be forced to play the new Fatal Frame game live?

Funny you should say that, because whenever we keep finding horror games that are going to be on the show floor, we immediately think about how soon we can put Andrew on it.
