Nintendo has announced its long-rumored Silver Mario amiibo will be released on May 29 for $12.99.

The Silver Mario amiibo will be available across major retailers nationwide as well as online digital marketplaces, although Nintendo doesn’t note how many will be available at launch. Thankfully, this amiibo won’t be exclusive to any retailer like the previously-released Gold Mario amiibo, which was only available at Walmart.

Nintendo revealed last week it has sold a total of 10.5m amiibo, nearly half of those shipping just in 2014 alone. It still wasn’t enough to meet with demand as Nintendo president Satoru Iwata apologized on behalf of the company for for being unable to promise when they’ll be able to resolve the current shortage of amiibo. He notes amiibo take “a considerable amount of time to produce” as well as claiming limited shelf space at retail stores make it difficult to predict the exact amount of demand.

Whether or not Nintendo will be able to meet the demand of releasing this new Silver Mario amiibo is completely unknown at this time. And if they don’t, we’re sure it’ll be yet another topic for our Stuff that Sucks video segments.
