I have a reasonable amount of email filters set up (because I'm so important *big cough*), and recently upgraded from Express to the full Outlook program that comes with Office 2000...for some reason though, it now puts the email in several directories instead of just one. Say I get a banner report, and its adressed to my personal email address - then I just want it in my banner dir. Sure I can change the personal email filter to not put it in the personal dir if its from the banner email address, but there are several other cases. Does Outlook 2000 just suck or am I not seeing some of the options.

hey this is a random guess,.. but did keen 6 require 576kb of ram free?
I totally agree that there are certain things that are way easier to do in dos than in a Windows environment. That's why I keep a dos floppy (bootable) with all the essential dos progs loaded handy.

i use dos less than once a month, but i dont even have a decent command prompt in me
there is no ALTERNATIVES to the quick and simple tricks that can be performed in dos in windows me :)

This aint the damn nineteen 80's. FUCK DOS. and fuck the lamers that have lame shit that cant operate in a Windoz environment.
I back up any comment which says this, I installed it and instantly reverted back to 98SE within one week.
If they want to remove DOS, they need to make reliable solutions on removal.
As a matter of fact it's STILL NOT FUCKING REMOVED it's in there just disabled, theres a "warez crack" to re-enable it (got it somewhere)

The only thing htat shits me about that is the "sys" command - fdisk / format etc, it's much harder to fix a "root directory system files damaged" problem on win2k / nt without EBD's
1. Assign a drive letter to the drive and
2. Format the fucking thing.

Also, I think that the current incarnation of 3d is very low-tech. Hopefully it will be phased out in a few years. ItÂ’s just that nobody wants to pioneer anymore. If its not tried and tested, nobody will attempt it. We need someone to push it ahead to the next level.
