If you live in Europe, chances are you've already seen "Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron" in theaters this week. That leaves everybody in America with the unfortunate task of navigating the internet for the next week frantically trying to avoid spoilers. One way to avoid Twitter is to immerse one's self in another game and, fortunately, Marvel Heroes 2015 is hoping to fit the bill while still building anticipation for the movie.

As Gazillion CEO David Brevik originally hinted to Shacknews, the Marvel-based MMORPG is getting new content related to "Avengers: Age of Ultron." In this case, it's one of the film's debuting heroes, the heroic android known as The Vision. Vision will join the roster as the game's 47th playable character and bring along with him his own unique ability to convert evil robots to the side of good. Think of him as a sort of mechanical necromancer.

Gazillion is celebrating the movie in several other ways. Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow (with new stun batons), and Hawkeye (with a new 9-shot rapid fire speed loader) will all be playable for free from now until the movie launches next week, with an XP boost, to boot. Each of these characters, as well as others featured in the film, will also receive new movie-inspired costumes. A new horde-style "Avengers: Age of Ultron" mode is being added, which will task teams with defending New York from waves of Ultron sentries before taking on the genocidal robot in a final showdown at what's left of Avengers Mansion. Staying away from this mode will not mean avoiding the robots, as Ultron will plant sentries around the entire game world.

As for Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, they aren't being left out. Quicksilver will be added to the Team-Up roster, a feature that has been revamped. Meanwhile, Scarlet Witch will come to the battlefield with revamped abilities, including new abilities based on "Age of Ultron" and a devastating new Ultimate Power.

Many of these film-related goodies will be available from now until the movie launches, so look for them to remain in place until late next week. For more, check out the video below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
