by Maarten Goldstein, Sep 01, 2000 5:38pm PDTWell here is something really surprising and shocking, Blizzard has announced an expansion pack for Diablo2. They expect this thing to be done in the first half of 2001 and it will feature
- Two new character classes (the Assassin and the Druid) each with 30 unique skills/spells - One new act set in the Barbarian Highlands - Ability to play the new character classes through the original four acts of Diablo II - Many new monster types, including bosses and uniques - Interactive environments such as siege towers and fortified battlements - Thousands of new weapons, armor and magical items, including class-specific quest items - New recipes for the Horadric Cube - Increased storage space in the stashGameCenter has a preview of this expansion, featuring 59 screenshots and a look at the new characters.

I just hope UO2 has the same type of random magics/items/trading balance that D2 has.....
I quit EQ for good 4 months after I started playing it out of frustration..... 1st person RPG is a great concept... just hasnt happended yet. (go to hell Verrant... you might learn something)
And ShadowBane just might be freakin awesome.... or it could completely suck.... but im definitely keeping an eye on it. Horizons? Almost went belly up...... so I dont have high expectations... but you never know.....
