The moment PC users have been waiting over a year for has finally arrived. The PC version of Grand Theft Auto V is now up and running. If you've pre-loaded on Steam, you've been given the green light to start up your game.

Grand Theft Auto V on PC adds a significant amount of new features from the game's original Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 incarnations. This includes 4K resolution support, 60fps, additional weapons, vehicles, and wildlife, and more. The new Rockstar Editor is also included for anyone that wants to create video of their open-world shenanigans. Also, players will be able to take their existing Grand Theft Auto Online characters from their Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4 versions, as detailed here. It should also be noted that Nvidia has prepared a Game Ready driver for any GeForce video card users.

For those that haven't picked it up yet, Grand Theft Auto V is available now on Steam.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
