April Fools: World of Warcraft matches up with new T.I.N.D.R. Box

Love isn't for everyone, unless World of Warcraft has anything to say about it. In the wake of the recent S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera, Blizzard's MMORPG is now going into dating with the new T.I.N.D.R. Box.

World of Warcraft players probably should have guessed that anything would be on the table now that selfie cameras are a thing. So is anyone really all that surprised that Blizzard is going from S.E.L.F.I.E. to T.I.N.D.R.?

Yes, completing a random mission in your Garrison will reward you with the T.I.N.D.R. Box, an item that can then be assigned to any of your Level 100 followers. And in the name of love, T.I.N.D.R. Box missions will continue to appear until all Level 100 followers are distracted in the name of romance. Sure, this will probably put a dent in raiding, but it's a small price to pay for virtual courtship and sweet, sweet Pandarian love. If your followers find love, you get the greatest reward of all: fat loot.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
