The PC version of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round will be made available on the PC today, although it won’t have as many essential bells and whistles as its console counterpart when it releases. One major omission will be an online mode.

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round’s Steam FAQ reveals the game currently only supports offline play with online play expected to be added “at a later date.” According to its Steam specification page, it says online play could take up to three months to become available.

Online play isn’t the only thing missing in the PC version of Last Round as the Soft Engine, which makes the skin look softer and more realistic on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, is also missing in addition to Steam achievements, support for cloud saving, and controller vibration. Stages The Danger Zone and The Crimson will also be missing. Fortunately, its graphics are equivalent to the PS3 version while its shadows are on par with the PS4 version.

Yes, that was sarcastic.

If all of these omissions weren’t enough, the Last Round manual also points out players with certain characters in their Steam profile name may have trouble saving their data. Oh, and changing your players’ ID could also result in problems saving or loading data.

So if you've been looking forward to Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on the PC, you might want to reconsider your purchase considering so much is being left out of this version at its launch. We would turn the other cheek if online play was at least included, but having to wait until the summer for it possibly showing up doesn't make this any better.
