Shovel Knight director discusses 'Plague of Shadows' DLC

The first of Shovel Knight's free DLC campaigns is on the horizon, so Andrew Zucosky went to PAX East to talk to Yacht Club's Sean Velasco about what players can expect in the upcoming Plague of Shadows.

Even though Shovel Knight was good enough to come in the #6 spot on Shacknews' 2014 Game of the Year list, Yacht Club Games still has more free content ready for their retro platformer. A year's worth, to be exact. And it's all set to kick off with the upcoming Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows.

Yacht Club debuted gameplay of the DLC for the first time during last week's PAX East weekend and, of course, Shacknews wanted to be there to see it. So join Andrew Zucosky as he gets a look at playable Plague Knight for the first time, while also getting a word with Yacht Club's Sean Velasco about what players can expect to see in the new DLC campaign.
