Dance Central Spotlight adds Borderlands' Claptrap and Nisha

"Directive one: Protect humanity! Directive two: Obey Jack at all costs. Directive three: Dance!"

The big Borderlands news came earlier this morning with the annnouncement of the latest Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel DLC. But that's not all for Gearbox's franchise. This morning, Harmonix made a separate Borderlands-related announcement, noting that two of its characters would be making their debut in Dance Central Spotlight.

If anyone knows how to dance, it's Claptrap and now he'll have the chance to show off his prime directive. As noted on Dance Central's Twitter account, pressing X or Y five times while in the character select screen will unlock either Claptrap or Vault Hunter Nisha. The new characters are something of a novelty, especially given that Claptrap doesn't have any legs to perform some of the moves.

There aren't too many dubstep selections in Dance Central Spotlight, so choose wisely.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
