2K and Turtle Rock are announcing a new Observer Mode will be coming to Evolve for free across all platforms.

Evolve’s Observer Mode appears to be geared towards live streamers by adding tools that help observe the action as well as add commentary to the experience, without the need of expensive equipment. Observer Mode allows all five players in a match to be shown on screen as well as allowing a sixth user to passively enter a custom game, which allows them to seamlessly switch to the view of any of the five players within the match.  This view includes an informative HUD that updates in real time with a number of items, such as showcasing player health, survival odds, perks, and more.

Turtle Rock will be showcasing Observer Mode in action tomorrow at 3pm PT over on Evolve’s Twitch channel. If you’re curious to see how it works, mark your calendars so you can get a taste of it prior to its release.
