Final Fantasy Type-0 HD trailer includes new Final Fantasy 15 demo footage

Let's face it. Some people will grab Final Fantasy Type-0 HD just to get the Final Fantasy XV demo. For those folks, the latest Final Fantasy Type-0 trailer offers a new look at the upcoming FF15 demo.

The long-awaited Final Fantasy remake, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, is nearly upon us. So now's a good time to start diving into more of the game's story. And it certainly starts off on a dark note.

This trailer is the English version of the Japanese trailer that recently debuted. It introduces some of the members of Class Zero and the creatures that face them, as they defend their home of Orience. Watch as they take the front lines against massive monsters and diabolical machines.

As a bonus, the trailer also offers a glimpse at some more Final Fantasy XV footage, much of which will be included in the demo that comes alongside Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. That includes more of the Duscae region, the female Cid, a giant Behemoth, and of course, more epic Bromance!

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD arrives on March 17, along with the Final Fantasy XV demo.

But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

The only reason neither the Type-0 or 15 look at all appealing to me is I must be too old now. It saddens me that I'm just not excited for Final Fantasy anymore.

I'm old and SUPER excited (mostly for 15). I'm so glad the 13s are finally over, and I just hope that now we can get back to GOOD FF (non-MMO) games.

The 13's were bad. I wanted to like them because, Final Fantasy, but after I forced myself through the first two, I couldn't get through Lightning Returns. I think that "series" left a bitter taste and now it's ruining my any kind of excitement for 15.

It just feels, to me, that they've completely jumped the shark with these leather dressed emo teen agnsty characters with impossible hair.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean-did you not like FF7, FF8, or FF10-2? I don't know about the leather, but didn't Cloud and Paine have impossible hair? Wasn't Squall kind of 'pre-emo' (by that I mean 'emo' before that was really a term)? To me, oddly dressed, strange (and/or pretty?) looking, 'I'm too cool for school' characters is just part of the FF package.

15 just looks so nerdy with the super emo Japanese guys in leathers. It might be a good game but it's a big hurdle for me to have to get over :).

That's like every final fantasy game

Not quite. What is cool for the US and Japan has diverged significantly compared to the mid 90's and earlier. I just wish Square would stop trying to appeal to any particular market and just make the game they want to make. I feel like their products are usually a mish mash of trying to appeal to Japanese gamers as well as the international market, and it just falls flat.

I haven't liked any of the non mmo's after 9. Just something about them is off.

          I blame the voice acting.

Yep, it's not getting old. It's that voice acting and the general melodrama in modern JRPG's cutscenes is so much more obvious. When it was text and low res characters, we could imagine the the amount of drama we felt was necessary for the scene to work.

Wait that’s a ps4 game? That cutscene with the dying guy looked really bad like ps2 era

It's remastered from a PSP game, so that might explain some of it.

Trying to figure out where all the demand for this game came from. I can understand that it got glowing reviews in Japan or so the neckbeards claim but when I read on Amazon "One of the most highly anticipated role-playing games of all time" it makes me shake my head. Def going to avoid this one, but a little angry that the only way to play the FF-XV demo is to buy/pre-order the day-one edition of this game for a $60 premium.
