Just as everything was going downhill on my waiting for a DSL (delayed twice, line quality estimate changed 4 times), something neeto happens. I just got an email from Verio (Who I get my SDSL through) telling me it's gonna just be 2-3 weeks from now. WAY faster than I expected. Back in Texas it took an amazing 3 months for things to happen. I had put in an order for ADSL which is generally faster to install just to hold things over waiting on the SDSL... but knowing how things go I'm not gonna can that ADSL order just yet. Looks like nobody had any complaints on the changes to the server and hostname stuff. The new funk.y features still remain ever elusive, Andy is probably going out of town next week which wont exactly help progress around here. Had hoped to beat the students coming back to school but I cant imagine it's too far off. (Unless Andy decides to rework the code from the ground up again.. heh) If you build it, they will come...

  • Man Who Actually Needs Grey Poupon Unable To Bring Self To Ask
ABERDEEN, MD--Sophie's Sandwich Shop patron Louis Worth, a longtime user of Grey Poupon dijon mustard, could not bring himself to ask for the product Monday when he actually needed it. "There's usually a bottle on one of the tables, but this time there wasn't," Worth said. "I actually said 'Pardon me' to the guy behind the counter, but then stopped in my tracks. I realized that if I actually asked, the guy would probably act all funny and say, 'But, of course,' in a rich-guy voice. So I just ate my turkey sandwich without it."
