Bethesda hosting first-ever E3 Showcase on June 14
Bethesda will be hosting its first-ever E3 Showcase in Hollywood, CA on June 14. Now what could they be up to that would warrant such a big presentation?
Bethesda has announced they will be holding their first-ever E3 Showcase in Hollywood, California on June 14.
It appears Bethesda is inviting its fans to attend in addition to the typical auditorium filled with members of the press and investors as they’ll be sharing details in the coming months on how those interested can register to attend the event. For those who prefer to enjoy the spectacle that is E3 from the comfort of their home, Bethesda will be broadcasting its E3 conference on its Twitch channel.
No further details regarding the conference’s location or what will be shown have been announced. As of now, it’d be pure speculation as to what games will be on display. I just hope for my sanity that it’s Fallout 4 or something Fallout related. Poppa needs his fix real bad, Bethesda.

The Skyrim engine *is* GameBryo! They just rebranded it to 'Creation Engine' but it's basically the same engine they used for Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim.

It's probably like...a whole new engine at this point anyway. Didn't the original developers of Gamebryo get acquired or something?
I wonder if Bethesda's current flavour of Gamebryo is a pretty separate fork now.-
Yeah I'm assuming at this point it's been rewritten so much you can practically call it something else.

As it's been 4 years since Skyrim i would bet that it's not just one game.
Prepare yourself for Fallout 4, TES 6 and Doom 4. -
If they manage to improve on what they did with Skyrim I will fill buckets. Definitely excited about the idea of dual wielding in Fallout.

Nothing? Quakecon was never going to be a big enough platform to announce the next Fallout or Elder Scrolls game.

I think we have to see Doom and Fallout 4. I heard a marketing rumor that they are going to be linked. Probably a cross promotion like Wolfenstein. Exclusive DLC maybe? If they do an E3 confereance without both they have already failed. The press will focus on the lack of one or the other
I would be really surprised if its any Elder Scrolls other than Online. If they do a remaster game, I hope it would be one of their older Elder Scroll games.
I think we will hear about Battlecry. No one wants it but I believe its officially launching this year.
Maybe we will see a glimpse on what Tango will be working on for the next couple of years.

The wider gaming community doesn't really care about Doom, it's all about whats happening with Fallout. If they unveiled both at the same time doom would be completely over shadowed. Makes way more sense to hold it until quakecon where it's audience is totally focused in that direction.
