MLB 15 The Show reveals first gameplay footage on Twitch today

Football is over, but baseball is right around the corner. Today, Sony San Diego pulls the curtain back on MLB 15 The Show, revealing the first gameplay footage on Twitch.

Now that football is over until September, it's time to start concentrating on the upcoming baseball season. With the first pitch comes Sony's annual contribution to the sport with MLB 15 The Show. Sony San Diego is offering a first look at the gameplay today, showing off some of the game's new features.

Sony San Diego will jump on Twitch today to unveil the first gameplay footage. The studio previously outlined some major changes, like user-controlled cut off throws, a new slide and tag system, simplified swing controls, and refined physics and AI. The stream is set to begin at 2PM PST today, which is available below for your viewing convenience. (Update: The stream is over, but the archive has been embedded below.)

In other news, the 10th Anniversay Edition of MLB The Show 15 will include a Wood Grain Steelbook cover, 12k in Stubs currency, 15 Bonus items packs, 30 MLB Dynamic Themes, and a more official MLB 15 Dynamic Theme. This special edition is available for pre-order now at various retailers with DualShock 4 skins from Skinit available as pre-order incentives.

MLB The Show 15 is set to arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita on March 31.
