WildStar launches The Protogames Initiative update

The fourth major content update for WildStar is now live, offering something to new players and veterans alike.

WildStar has launched its latest content update. Carbine Studios has released The Protogames Initiative, which offers a slew of new content aimed at both new WildStar players and seasoned veterans.

Those discovering WildStar for the first time will find a newer, more detailed tutorial sequence, along with a new Level 10 dungeon called "The Protogames Academy." This is meant to introduce newcomers to the group dynamic and will prepare them for the adventure ahead, including the new Level 6 Shiphand mission called "They Came From Fragment Zero." Veterans, meanwhile, will be able to sink their teeth into the Level 50 "The Ultimate Protogames" dungeon, as well as souped-up veteran versions of the game's Shiphand missions. The WildStar website also details various quality-of-life changes, such as improved reward allocation and a better queue flow for PvP Warplots.
