Super Smash Bros. Wii U adds 15 8-player smash stages
Everybody needs a little more variety in their stages when playing 8-player smash. With today's Super Smash Bros. for Wii U update, you'll now be given the larger variety you've been needing.
Nintendo released an update for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U that allows 8-player smash to be playable on 15 additional stages.
The update, which weighs in at a little over 300MB, includes nine regular stages and six variants of Final Destination stages. Prior to this update, there were only a handful of stages available to play 8-player smash, so fans of the game mode have way more stage options to look forward to starting today.
Here’s the full list of stages that are now available to play in 8-player smash:
Regular stages
- Mario Circuit (X)
- Luigi's Mansion
- Pyrosphere
- Norfair
- Lylat Cruise
- Pokémon Stadium 2
- Animal Crossing - Town and City
- Animal Crossing - Smashville
- Wii Fit Studio
Final Destination stages
- Mario Galaxy
- Mario Circuit (X)
- Kirby: The Great Cave Offensive
- Lylat Cruise
- Pokémon Stadium 2
- Animal Crossing - Town and City

Ok, that's pretty cool. The trouble with 8-player Smash for me was that a lot of the stages felt kind of cramped. Maybe 15 more will fix that.
