Kung Lao and Kitana are joining the Mortal Kombat X roster later this spring, according to a newly-released gameplay trailer by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios.

The new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat X starts off highlighting some of the devastating moves both Kitana and Kung Lao are capable of, but shortly after their reveals, the trailer goes completely nuts and shows quite a gruesome, yet impressive, combat montage. As we’ve seen in previous announcement trailers, we’re treated with a fatality by one of the newly-announced characters. Specifically, we get to see just how deadly Kitana can be with her fan blades.

Mortal Kombat X is will release on April 14 across PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.
