Those that have survived the Xenomorph's relentless hunt to this point aren't safe quite yet. But there may be safety on the horizon if Alien: Isolation's 'Safe Haven' DLC is any indication. The third Survivor Mode add-on is making its way to Sega and The Creative Assembly's survival fest today, adding in a new Salvage Challenge game mode that offers up one of the game's most intense challenges yet.

Salvage will see players work against the clock to complete ten challenges before escaping. The catch is that the player will have only a single life, so if the Xenomorph catches you, it's game over, man! Game over! Completing challenges will unlock rewards, as well as spots on the leaderboards.

But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
