If you made it through the holiday season without picking up a PlayStation 4 or receiving one as a gift, you might be waiting for either a price drop or for a really good incentive to drop $400 on a new console. Well, Sony is announcing a pretty good incentive to pick up its standard 500GB PS4 bundle that will include a digital copy of The Last of Us Remastered.

The Last of Us Remastered should need no introduction to most gamers at this point, but if you somehow have yet to hear of it, it’s a completely enhanced version of Naughty Dogs’ brilliant survival shooter. The original title received over 200 game of the year awards and the remastered version takes full advantage of the PlayStation 4’s improved specs.

The new 500GB PlayStation 4 bundle will be making its way to participating retailers over the next few days and will retail for $399.99. If you’ve got your eye on this bundle, be sure to keep an eye out for any Sony delivery trucks that may be in the area as they could very well have this sweet bundle ready to be delivered.

I might be missing something but haven't PS4s sold with at least The Last of Us Remastered (and for special occasions, an additional game) for quite a few months already?

I literally just bought a PS4 off Amazon yesterday and it came with a code for a free game (Destiny, FarCry 4, NBA 2k15 or Little Big Planet 3), but no Last of Us. I don't mind that much, played LoU on the PS3, loved it, so I don't feel like I'm missing out that much. Plus I'm assuming they'll eventually have it for PS+ members at some point.

Yeah, the one my brother got his kids for Christmas in early December had it included. That bundle's been around since November at least.
