Microsoft and 343 Industries have announced pre-orders are now available for Halo 5: Guardians as well as the launch of the title’s multiplayer beta.

There will be a total of three different editions of Halo 5: Guardians available for pre-order, each of which will include their own exclusive content. The Standard Edition of Halo 5: Guardians will be the less impressive of the three as it’ll include an exclusive poster in addition to a copy of the game for $59.99. The Limited Edition retails for $99.99 and will include everything in the Standard Edition as well as digital content to enhance your Spartan’s combat and exclusive items, all of which will be available within a unique steel book.

Last, but not least, is the Limited Collector’s Edition. This edition will retail for $249.99 and will include everything within the Limited Edition package, as well as a commemorative numbered statue designed by 343 Industries and additional content, which Microsoft will reveal at a later date.

In addition to its pre-order announcement, Microsoft has also announced the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta has officially kicked off today for those who purchased Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Those who own the game can access the multiplayer beta starting today up until January 18, 2015. Considering just how messed up the launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been, this is probably one of the main incentives of owning the game since the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta has actually been functional during the times that I’ve played it over the past few weeks.
