Now that Terraria is out on just about every platform imaginable, it's time to get festive. Developer Re-Logic and 505 Games are deploying a title update on Monday, one which will ring in the holiday season.

The latest update for the side-scrolling world creator will offer 20 new items, all holiday-themed. Re-Logic is even teasing an appearance from Santa Claus, who may be looking to deliver presents to all good girls and boys... and hideous monsters. The update is set to last through December 31.

Other additions will include the zoom function for the Xbox One version of the game, as well as cross-play for PS4, PS3, and Vita. The full patch notes can be found on the Terraria forums. The Terraria holiday update is available now on Xbox One and Xbox 360, with PS4, PS3, and Vita set to get it on Monday.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
