The holidays are here which means you might want everything around you to reflect the spirit of this very special time of year. If you happen to celebrate Christmas, and are an avid Minecraft player on the Xbox One and Xbox 360, then Microsoft has got some news for you as a Christmas-themed DLC pack will be made available for the title starting today.

The Festive Mash-Up Pack includes a number of new items that are specifically designed to get players in the Christmas spirit. The holiday-themed texture pack will allow players to create blocks that feature snow and fairy lights, listen to Christmas-themed music by the original composer of Minecraft, C418, and a total of 36 skins will be available.

The Festive Mash-Up Pack is priced at $2.99 and will eventually become available on additional platforms, although Microsoft gave no word when that can be expected. Let’s just hope it’s in time for the holidays as this pack will most likely become obsolete as early as January 2nd.
