There are still humans that need to be saved. Developer Housemarque is working on another expansion for their twin-stick shooter, Resogun. The DLC will be known as Resogun: Defenders and is set to release early next year.

Resogun: Defenders will throw in two new game modes called Protector and Commando. New ships and planets will be available for all game modes, with Housemarque also noting on PlayStation.Blog that the expansion will feature "some of our most detailed artwork to date." You'll even be able to run around as one of the humans in Commando mode. The expansion will be available for $4.99 or as part of Resogun's Season Pass.

Those looking for something a little less expansive can look forward to a new content patch, code named 'Challengers.' The patch will offer new challenges across all game modes, as well as a challenge point system that will affect the game's pilot ranking system. The Challengers patch is coming soon.

But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
