Dying Light Season Pass items detailed

The game isn't out yet, but that isn't stopping Techland from detailing what's coming in Dying Light's Season Pass.

With Dying Light set to begin its search for brains in 2015, developer Techland is already lining up its Season Pass content. The game's three post-release add-ons have been detailed, with each set to offer new missions, weapons, and outfits.

Cuisine & Cargo will kick off the DLC-fest in February with two new missions. Players are tasked with investigating buildings that have been sealed off, all filled with infected. The second DLC pack will be the Ultimate Survivor Bundle, which grants seven new in-game items, three outfits, and four blueprints to create new weapons. The final Season Pass item is the Bozak Horde, which will offer a new single-player/co-op map filled with a new enemy type.

Those looking to just skip right ahead to the giant compilation will soon be able to do so, with Dying Light Ultimate Edition pre-orders expected to open up. Those simply looking for the base game will be able to get Dying Light on January 27 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and get the Season Pass later for $19.99.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
