Red Faction: Guerrilla falls under the category of classic favorites. Over five years after it was originally released, Volition's futuristic shooter is now getting one of its biggest updates to date. It has officially made the transition from Games for Windows Live to Steamworks.

Red Faction: Guerrilla is now going by the title Red Faction: Guerrilla Steam Edition and includes Steamworks matchmaking, Steam Trading Cards, and all online functions performed via Steam. Six new Wrecking Crew maps have also been added, as well as a new mode called Behemoth Mode.

This, of course, goes along with a handful of tweaks and bug fixes. The full list of changes can be found on the game's Steam Announcements page.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
