NVidia Supports AGP 8x
by Maarten Goldstein, Aug 24, 2000 8:10am PDTNVidia has issuesed a press release announcing their support for the upcoming AGP 8x interface Intel is working on. AGP 8x has speeds up to 533Mhz, and NVidia says they will have the first product out to support this.

AGP 8x may be completely useless, but it is unlikely to hurt anyone or cause the price to be higher.

they will support it with hardware, but their drivers will disable it and you'll have to hack the registry to make it work (just like agp 4x and SBA).
