XSEED Games has announced its latest action-RPG game, AKIBA’S TRIP: Undead & Undressed, is making its way to PlayStation 4 just in time for some serious turkey carving as the title will be released on November 25.

AKIBA’S TRIP: Undead & Undressed has players fighting their way through Tokyo’s famous “Electric Town” district, Akihabara. You play as Nanashi as he attempts to stop an evil force of vampiric monsters from abducting otaku from the area to be used for devious purposes. Synthisters, as they’re called, are defeated through attacking specific body parts, which weakens their clothes, and ripping them off to expose their pantsu, or underwear for those who don’t watch as much anime as I do.

The PlayStation 4 version of the game introduces a number of improvements over the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions, which includes enhanced visuals with 1080p support, a Toybox Mode that allows players to start the game with one of every available weapon and clothing item, and a Visual Editor, which allows players to completely customize nearly every aspect of the look of the game, even allowing livestream viewers to directly affect the player’s experience through the use of specific chat commands.

AKIBA’S TRIP: Undead & Undressed will be available across participating retailers as well as digital download on November 25 for $49.99. If you can’t wait that long, the PS3 and PS Vita versions are currently available for $39.99.

I played both the Vita and PS3 versions when they originally released a few months back and I really enjoyed this game. I personally have always wanted to visit Japan, especially Akihabara, so it allowed me to get a taste of it while also experiencing a pretty funny story and impressive fighting mechanics. So I'm pretty excited for the PS4 version to be released later this month.
