Sega’s Valkyria Chronicles will be heading to PC, the company revealed on its official Twitter page overnight.

“Gallia, to arms! Return to the original battle on PC,” is what the Sega Twitter profile said last night along with a screenshot of Valkyria Chronicles. No other details were given besides the promise of more information coming in the near future.

Valkyria Chronicles is one game that I have always loved not only because of its deep and engaging gameplay, but also for its story, which was turned into an anime back in 2009. For some reason, Sega never followed up with a sequel to the game on console as Valkyria Chronicles II and Valkyria Chronicles III were released on the PlayStation Portable.

Resurrecting the game for PC players to enjoy is something I’m sure many of you would appreciate. Hopefully it’ll prove to be popular enough for Sega to seriously consider revitalizing the series as my imagination is running wild thinking of a PlayStation 4 version of the game.
