Shacknews Plays: Extra Life 2014

On October 25th, 2014, we'll be part of a huge international celebration of the social impact of gamers with Extra Life, and it's our sincere hope that you'll find it in your heart to support us.

Starting this Saturday at 8 AM ET, we will be streaming on the official Shacknews twitch channel, and we won't stop playing games for a full 24 hours. If you want to join the team and stream during the day, let us know and we will shout out your stream on the channel! We're big believers in the motto "the more, the merrier." Right now our goal is $2000 dollars, but with your help we think we have the capacity to blow that number out of the water.

Extra Life is a charity that raises money for local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals where thousands of children are treated each year, regardless of their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents to name just a few.

We would also love to have a block of time on Sunday in which our Chatty members continue the marathon and raise money. If you'd like to take a shot at streaming, let us know below if you would be interested and we can add you to the official team and get a schedule.
