Of all the playable characters featured in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, none are as recognizable or unique as Claptrap. In this gameplay demonstration, live from the floor of PAX Prime, Gearbox associate producer James Lopez and 2K Austrailia producer Joel Eschler walk us through some of the robot's skills and abilities.

Claptraps Action Skill is called VaultHunter.exe, and it's a program that analyzes the immediate situation, then equips the robot with an appropriate response based on different vault hunter abilities. For example, he can throw down a tiny but effective turret, or emulate some of Lilith's siren powers. However, the software is still in beta, so the solutions don't always work perfectly. Also, the description has a little disclaimer at the bottom stating that it's classified as malware, and that allies may be affected.

Check out the 11 minute video to see how well clapware works. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel releases on October 14 for PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PS3.
