We learned just last month Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead was headed to both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October, and today, the company confirmed release dates for both seasons of the game.

First off, The Walking Dead: Season Two will be available for purchase at both retailers and digitally starting on October 21st on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. PlayStation Vita owners will need to wait just a little bit longer for their version as it’ll be released on November 4th.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will also be able to pick up the retail version of The Walking Dead: Season One starting on October 14th. The package will include all five episodes of the first season as well as the sixth episode “400 Days.”

I spoke to Telltale about this at GameStop Expo. The conversation was off-the-record, but they did want to indicate that they're nearing a potential solution.

I would totally re-buy and play again for Season 1 and then continue my save from Season 2 (I think I'm on Episode 2); still mid episode 1 on Wolf Among Us, which should be coming to XB1/PS4 soon
