Minecraft made the jump to current-fen platforms a few weeks ago as both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners were able to play the title through downloading it on their respective digital marketplaces. For those who prefer to have physical media over digital, Microsoft has announced Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will be coming to a retail store near you on November 18.

The retail version of Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will retail for $19.99, and just like the digital version, players have access to transferring their Xbox 360 content over to the Xbox One version. Unfortunately, the $4.99 upgrade discount Minecraft Xbox 360 owners received when purchasing the digital version of the Xbox One Edition will not apply to the retail disc version.

If this is your first time getting into Minecraft and prefer physical media, then this looks to be your perfect opportunity to get in on the action. Otherwise, those who previously purchased the Xbox 360 version should just settle for the digital version in order to take advantage of the $4.99 discount.
