Musicians who enjoy spending their downtime playing music-based games will be happy to hear Ubisoft has announced Rocksmith 2014 will soon be rocking the socks off of Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners on November 4, 2014.

Both the Xbox One and PS4 versions of Rocksmith 2014 will run at 1080p and will feature over 50 tracks with more than 300 additional songs available for purchase and new content added every week. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners who are upgrading to the current-gen versions of Rocksmith 2014 will be able to import track libraries without having to repurchase content or any sort of additional cost.

The standard edition of Rocksmith 2014 includes a Rocksmith Real Tone Cable, which is a unique cable that turns your guitar’s signals from analog to digital, which allows it to be recognizable not only to your game console, but also to your PC and Mac.

PlayStation Vita owners will also be able to enjoy Remote Play as they can access their PS4 version of the game by reviewing songs at a locked mastery level without any scoring or input required.
