Final Fantasy Agito, the free-to-play iOS and Android RPG, is being ported to Vita in Japan. But, Square Enix still hasn't said anything about bringing the mobile or Vita versions westward.

Final Fantasy Agito, a free-to-play iOS and Android RPG, was announced with promises that it would be localized, even if not necessarily released in North America. We are still Agito-less here, but Square Enix has announced it's coming to another platform in Japan.

Final Fantasy Union (via Joystiq) reports that at Tokyo Game Show, the company announced it will be ported to Vita in the region. Final Fantasy Agito+, as it will be known, will launch on January 15. It will be free digitally, or available as a retail purchase for approximately $35. The choice seems pretty obvious.

The company did not announce a western release for Agito+, or even its original mobile incarnation, but this at least gives it one more avenue for possible release.

Fingers crossed. 3 FF games in a single year would be amazing.

So what is it? Some kind of online co-op turn based co-op game? The trailer at first makes it look like one of those japanese dating simulators, but then there was some combat or something near the end. I'm confused
