Acer is announcing the availability of its newest gaming-focused displays, the Acer XB270H and XB280HK, that offers some neat features desktop gamers could certainly appreciate, one of which is the inclusion of Nvidia G-Sync technology.

The first monitor, the Acer XB280HK is a 28-inch 4K2K Ultra HD display with a max resolution of 3840 x 2160 at a 60Hz refresh rate, while the XB270H is dropped down to a 27-inch Full HD display at a 144Hz refresh rate.

Acer’s XBO series gaming displays both feature G-sync technology, which gives monitors smooth, responsive visuals which is said to elevate gameplay to a “new level of stunning realism.” With G-Sync, every frame that’s rendered by the GPU is completely in synch with the monitor’s refresh rate, eliminating screen tearing and minimizing display stutter.

Both models are capable of providing a 1ms response time, comfortable ergonomics and lots of connectivity. They use a flicker-less technology that helps reduce eye strain, features low dimming technology capable of providing users the ability to drop their brightness down to 15% in low-light environments and ComfyView non-glare screens reduce reflection.

Last, but not least, is its connectivity as both displays come with DisplayPort as well as high-speed USB 3.0 ports (1 up, 4 down) that are located bottom side corner of the displays, making it easy to connect all of your peripherals. One of the USB ports even has the ability to charge batteries.

The Acer XB270H is available at online retailers in the US and Canada for $599 and $649.99 CAD. The XB280HK will be available next month and will retail for a wallet-tearing $799 and $849.99 CAD.
