The sinister assassination plot against Winston Churchill is about to come to a head. Rebellion has released the third and final chapter of the 'Save Churchill' DLC for Sniper Elite 3. And if the single-player campaign doesn't entice you, then the studio is also releasing some more multiplayer content for no extra charge.

Save Churchill Part 3: Confrontation boasts the largest environment in the Sniper Elite series to date, as Karl Fairburne must scramble to find the German sniper known as Raubvogel before he can take out Churchill's convoy. Fairburne must get through Axis forces and barricades before confronting Raubvogel, once and for all.

Multiplayer will also receive a new Capture the Flag mode, in which teams must coordinate on who goes after the opposing team's flag and who stays behind to snipe any opponents trying to infiltrate their base. The game's fifth free multiplayer map, Night Watch, will also be included in a new update, taking players to a dark oasis.

Save Churchill Part 3 is available now on Steam for $6.99, with console versions set to come later. Anyone that still needs the base game can pick it up for 33% off this weekend. Meanwhile, anyone looking for more limited edition goodies can check out the Sniper Elite 3: Limited Special Edition over on the Rebellion website.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
