Destiny has been available for nearly one week, which means there are millions of players out there attempting to experience as much of the game as possible. When a new game is released, folks tend to look for easter eggs, and Bungie went ahead and snuck a Halo reference within its latest shooter.
Redditor SmokingGhost found what looks to be an homage to Bungie’s Halo series somewhere in the Trenchworks on Mars. If you’re visiting the area and look at the command tower in just the right spot, you’ll see a building that looks a lot like Master Chief’s iconic helmet.
Since Destiny is published by Activision and Halo is Microsoft’s property, an homage like this seems more appropriate than having something like Master Chief’s armor or a Warthog hidden somewhere in Destiny. Although I would certainly like to drive around Destiny in a Warthog.

It does actually change, once you get the tutorial (story) out of the way and start doing some daily and weekly strikes....
It looks like a pretty obvious Spartan helmet to me.
