Will Ferrell raising money for charity with 'SuperMegaBlastMax Gamer Challenge'

Hot pot of coffee! The comedian/actor wants to challenge you to raise money for charity, and maybe even get the opportunity to game with him.

Will Ferrell may not be the first name that comes to mind when it comes to video games, but you can't question the guy's devotion when it comes to raising money for a good cause.

Ferrell is taking part in a new Indiegogo campaign to raise money for both Donate Games and Cancer for College. The overall goal for the program is $375,000, and so far, it's making progress at just over $3,000, with 33 days to go.

Those who take part in the program will actually be entered into a drawing, where the grand prize winner will be flown to San Francisco to game with Ferrell, which will be broadcasted live on Twitch.

As with any gaming campaign, various rewards are up for grabs depending on your donation level. These include an autographed Xbox 360 controller, limited edition t-shirts and hoodies, and even sunscreen for some reason.
