With Monster Hunter 4 almost set to invade the United States, Capcom has decided to go all out and give the game the Collector's Edition package fans truly deserve.

The Ultimate Collector's Edition of the game will include an exclusive Gore Magala figure, a Felyne wearing Gore Magala armor pin, a collectible Monster lanyard, a cleaning cloth and a supply item box, along with a copy of the game.

The package will sell for $59.99 and is available for pre-order over at Gamestop now. The game should release in March 2015.

Why the hell does it take so long to localize this game to the US?!?! MH4 came out in Japan a year ago didn't it!

I know "Ultimate" is kind of an 'uber' version of the original game, but I don't understand why they didn't capitlize on the bit of hype they had from 3 and get 4 over to the US quickly. I would have bought two copies of 4 just to help support the series coming out over here.

I think it's a way to let the Japanese explore the content first, and preventing oversaturation in the US.

But 'oversaturation' is there any saturation in the US? It seems like they still need to build it up over here.

Agreed. But from what I understand, MH4 had a lot of problems in the beginning with encounter balance and a variety of other things. I think they wanted to wait and release a polished product, given they don't have a fanatic fanbase overseas that would overlook those problems.

capcom doesn't give a fuck about the US. simple as that. look at their game library. tons of their games never make it to our shores (or any other shores for that matter). Also their merchandise store is closed to anyone except japanese. If you try to connect to their monster hunter mmo with a foreign IP then you get banned instantly.

        fuck capcom
