Sony releases huge PSP library to Plus users in Japan

Sony of Japan had quite a gift to bestow to loyal PlayStation Plus subscribers this week, as the company announced that it would release 250 PlayStation Portable games for play on the PS Vita, all for the price of nothing. Free of charge.

The offer reported by GameSpot, which will begin on September 17th and run through December 31st, offers a variety of titles with unlimited access, including Gran Turismo, LocoRoco, the God of War games and more.

The cost will be removed from the current games for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and those games can be kept until said subscription expires.

There's no word yet if Sony will expand this offer to U.S. and European markets, but it would certainly generate more interest in the PlayStation Plus program. Not to mention Vita ownership, even. And PlayStation TV.
