Chatty Twitch Highlights 32: Labor Day Shackbattles

For this three-day weekend, I wanted to do what this feature does best and that's highlight the very best of the Shacknews community. Twitch highlights are still coming in fast and furious and I have three more to share with the viewing public today. We return to sergeon for some more Half-Life 2 action on Oculus Rift, we venture into The Bureau: XCOM Declassified with dael, and we go into Labor Day with a full, uncut Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Shackbattle.

Half-Life 2

It was such a hit last week that we just had to return to Half-Life 2 on Oculus Rift. This week, sergeon is showing off some more of the HL2 gunplay, as he plays through Canal until he reaches Ravenholm. Check out how he handles movement, gunfire, and vehicle controls with nothing but his dual sticks and his headset.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay

After playing through The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay last week, dael is opting for something a little more recent. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified didn't garner a whole lot of critical praise, but it certainly becomes a bit more palatable at a lower price point. Watch dael run through some of the early levels and see if he agrees with the critical assessment laid out a year ago.

Let's send everyone into this three-day weekend with some Shackbattle insanity! With the weekly Battlefield 4 Shackbattle on hiatus for the foreseeable future, our crew of Battlefield players have turned to a blast from the past. And thus, the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 weekly Shackbattle has taken over.
