Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Is Simcity worth $6? Or should I wait for a better deal (i.e. free)?

It was worth $6 before it had off-line play. Now that they've un-crippled it (mostly) it's definitely worth it, IMO.

And...argh, I guess I missed the sale. I assumed it was a weekend-long sale, not limited to Friday. I guess I'll just wait for the next one.

Just curious, what mods do you use?

Mainly udon I think is what it's called for all my one way roads and highways and the border remover so my cities are much larger, tho still a little buggy it's nice I can build much further outside my default city box. I'll check links when I'm on my pc, but simtropolis is the place to go and look at top rated mods and read descriptions to what you might like.
