Dying Light dev diary explains natural movement system

Techland is still hard at work looking to bring its latest zombie-filled world to life. To get an idea of how that's coming along, the studio has released a new developer diary for Dying Light, detailing much of the game's progress to this point.

The first developer diary focuses a lot on Dying Light's natural movement system, an area that they've previously discussed at events like EGX Rezzed. Some of the movement displayed in this video includes being able to slide under objects while on the run and seamlessly vault over objects, while utilizing various parkour movements. It also shows some of the different ways to confront and take on zombies.

For more, including a very brief cut of someone trying Dying Light out on Oculus Rift, check out the developer diary below. Dying Light is set to arrive in 2015. Be sure to check out our hands-on from E3 here.
