The Golf Club swinging onto PlayStation 4 today

After spending some time going through certification, The Golf Club is ready to hit PS4 today.

The Golf Club released last week on Xbox One and came out of Steam Early Access on PC, but the PlayStation 4 version was stuck in a certification logjam. Today, HB Studios announced that the PS4 version of the procedurally-generated golf game has been given the thumbs up by Sony and it is being released today without any further delay.

Just as with the other versions of the game, The Golf Club will feature Tours & Tournaments, stroke play, match play, and 4-ball. Users can create and share an unlimited number of custom courses, with no loading times between any holes.

The PlayStation Store listing is not active at this time, but expect The Golf Club to arrive within hours. When it does, it'll be available for $34.99.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
